I’m so ready for a fresh New Year! I’m focusing on and celebrating all the positive momentum, new energy, and great experiences I know the coming year will have to offer.
I always start a new year off with quite a bit of mindset work and journaling. It’s so helpful in setting intentions and creating momentum!
Years ago, I learned that the quality of our lives is directly affected by the quality of the questions we ask ourselves (and answer honestly). Quality questions can provide a gold mine of clarity and guidance. Below I’m sharing three of my favorite questions for creating, manifesting, and getting clear on what we want from the year ahead. You can re-visit these simple but powerful questions any time you need to spark a little motivation and clarity. They’re fantastic journal prompts and can be used for creating fresh starts any time you’d like!
These little questions will help you with goal setting, creating desired feelings and experiences, and cultivating the powerful mindsets needed to move yourself forward. Ready to get focused on creating a great year ahead?
Find a cozy spot, grab your journal or a pad of paper and answer these 3 gems:
- What are 3 things you can do to support you in feeling the way you want to feel in the months ahead? (Examples: New habits? Clutter clearing? Strengthening relationships?) A great happiness skill is to learn to generate desired feelings regularly, rather than waiting for some future thing or event to create them. Deciding how we want to feel and then creating those feelings on purpose is a superpower!
- What are 3 difference-making things you can do right now to move you toward a goal or experience you’d like to make happen? I like to call these high value activities.
- What are 3 not so obvious things you’re grateful for right now? (Examples: books, a favorite meal, the feeling of toes in the sand, dogs…whatever lights you up!). I like to call this intentional expanded gratitude.
Try coming up with a couple of additional great questions to answer that are in alignment with what you’re looking to create. It’s powerful and fun! I’ll also be sharing more tips and questions over on Instagram, so be sure to join me there.
Wishing you a happy, healthy, abundant year ahead!
Lots of love and light,
Kristi
