It’s a fresh new year and I’m so ready! Ready to celebrate and focus on all the positive momentum, new energy, and great experiences I know this year will have to offer. I always start a new year off with quite a bit of mindset work and journaling. It’s so helpful in setting intentions and creating momentum! I thought I’d invite you to join me. Below (and over on Instagram with a video) I’ve shared three questions to help you create a great year. You can re-visit these simple but powerful questions any time you need to spark a little motivation and clarity. They’re fantastic journal prompts and can be used for creating fresh starts any time you’d like!
These questions / journal prompts will help you with goal setting, creating desired feelings and experiences, and cultivating the powerful mindsets needed to move yourself forward. Ready to get focused on creating a great year ahead?
Find a cozy spot, grab your journal or a pad of paper and answer these journal prompts:
– What are 2 things you can do right now to feel the way you want to feel? A great happiness skill is to learn to generate desired feelings regularly (rather than waiting for some future thing or event to create them).
– what are two difference-making things you can do right now to move you toward a goal or experience you’d like to make happen? I like to call these high value activities.
– What are two not so obvious things you’re grateful for right now? (Practice intentional expanded gratitude).
You can see a video to go with this post over on my Instagram. Be sure to follow me there (and say hello!) for inspo and updates. And, for more in-depth work around these and other helpful tools (plus a few of my very personal stories), check out my book Operation Happiness: The 3-Step Plan to Creating a Life of Lasting Joy, Abundant Energy, and Radical Bliss in hardcover or audiobook. So many tools in there to help you in your journey!
